# Parameter Locking

All automatable parameters in Minimal Audio plugins support locking between presets. When enabled, the parameter’s value will remain unchanged as presets are loaded.

To enable parameter locking, simply right-click on a knob or slider and select “Lock.”

A common use case for this is locking the dry/wet mix amount on an effect, but you may also find it useful to lock other controls, such as macros or gain settings.
